Trillium Hollow was founded in the late 1990's by a group of Universalist Unitarians, one of whom is still with us at 90 years young. We have 9 teams that help run the community (e.g. landscape team, maintenance team, etc). Members are encouraged to participate in a once monthly work party, engage in meetings (community operations) and attend social gatherings as their capacity allows. Per Oregon law, Trillium is an HOA, though the chosen governance method is consensus.

Unit #104
A studio condo is for sale in Portland’s Trillium Hollow Cohousing Neighborhood, asking price $225,000.  Monthly HOA dues are $231, which include all utilities and internet. Trillium is a multigenerational cohousing community on a forested 3.8 acres in northwest Portland, Oregon, just a 15-min drive from downtown.  With 29 units of varied sizes, from studios to 4-bedrooms, it is home to about 40 adults and children - a mix of families, singles, and couples.  Founded and built in the late 1990's, and legally an HOA, Trillium is organized around 9 teams that help run the community, with governance by consensus, and workshare participation expected. Residents are encouraged to participate in monthly work parties, join at least one team, contribute time, energy, and skills, and attend the monthly community meetings.  Working and playing together builds community connections!
